I just wanted to post a big thank you to everyone who supported me and followed my results at the Chili Bowl! It meant a lot to me! Also, thanks to Douglas Bock, Britton Bock, Fred Hubbard, William Fosbenner, John Golobic, Get Som, Christopher Mckim, Keith Offill, Poppa, Dan Esslinger, Factory Kahne, Team RWB and everyone else who made it possible. Although the results weren't as good as they probably would/should have been, I had a blast. Thanks everyone. Up next, I start a new semester at SJSU tomorrow. One step closer to my mechanical engineering degree. Counting the days until the first race, see you then.

Shane did his best in the C main. Started 18th, was running 11th, then made some contact with The Demon and bent the jacobs ladder and the rear axle. Shane is already counting the days till next years Chili Bowl!

The #26 Doug Bock/GetSom team was fast at The Chili Bowl last night! Shane won his heat race and won his qualifier race giving him 9th in points out of 70 drivers. Shane started 3rd in the A main event. He was running 4th with 5 laps to go when another car crashed him. Shane finished 19th. He will race again on Saturday, hoping to transfer a few mains trying to get to the A main event. Good luck to the team!

Shane will be running on Thursday night at the 26th Annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals. http://www.chilibowl.com/ He will be in the #26 Doug & Joey Bock, GetSOM Sports, Bicycles Inc. midget. The team is excited to compete with 260-300 of the best drivers in the United States.

Three In a Row! The #121 Joe Vonschriltz/ Country Builders Constructions wins for the 3rd time in a row at Watsonville Friday night! Started in the 4th position and made a last last pass on Tarlton to win. Shane was the only driver to win 4 of the Taco Bravo Series races this season. Congrats to the team!

Congrats to Shane and the #121 Country Builders team for finishing 2nd at the 360 Fall Nationals on Saturday night. Shane lead 33 of the 40 laps and traded 1st place with Tim several times the last few laps. Tim Kaeding beat Shane Golobic to the finish line by .19 seconds.

52 cars at the Gold Cup tonight. Shane started 24th and finished 20th in the A main tonight. It was a fast track with not much passing. All 24 drivers in the A main are amazing race car drivers and we were all fast. Feeling proud about making the show both nights, 3rd place last night and having a great Gold Cup weekend!

Shane in the #121 and Bryan Clauson in the #121 1/2 proved to be a very strong team on Saturday night at The 51st Johnny Key Classic. Shane finished 3rd and Bryan finished 6th. Congrats to the entire team for a job well done!

Saturday night is the 51st Johnny Key Classic. Shane will be in the #121 Joe Vonschriltz/Country Builders Construction 360 sprinter. Bryan Clauson will also join the team in the #121 1/2. This will be Bryan's first time in a winged sprint car. Be there to cheer on the #121 team, going to be a great night!
